A small number of people will experience dizziness, headache, or irritation at the site of application. These are the only side effects or adverse reactions reported in the 38 years of testing and usage worldwide.

There are no known contraindications of the Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation Ultra. However, caution should be exercised in certain patients. The CES Ultra should not be used without ongoing clinical supervision in the following circumstances:

• Patients known to be pregnant
• Patients with implanted electronic devices such as cardiac pacemakers or insulin pumps
• Patients with severe depression
• Patients with epilepsy
